Unifying Families is a program that focuses on improving the relationship in the home by working with both parents and their children in a group setting or in individual sessions. Workshops can be customized to fit your needs: individual sessions, 1-hour topic-specific workshops, multi-session programming, and large group sessions.
The program focuses on effective tools to help parents and their children improve communication skills, develop a viable reward system to improve behavior, and learn some stress management techniques, to name a few.
Programs/workshops are offered to families, schools and other community groups (such as Boy/Girl Scouts and other youth groups, parent groups, church groups) and are scheduled throughout the year to accommodate your schedule. Workshops can be scheduled durig the day or in the evening. Some of our most requested workshops include topics on Internet Safety, Underage Drinking, Bullying, Body Image, and Tools to Prevent Substance Use in Youth.
